Hiking is a popular thing to do around Slow Springs Reservoir; Fanton Plaza Trail is a splendid local trail; if you need a place to stay Best Western Sandy Inn is a magnificent choice. Howard Johnson Gresham is a good place to get some rest. This       lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Slow Springs Reservoir beyond doubt is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. You're possibly interested in lakes, North Fork Reservoir is one of those close by, and golf can be played at Springwater Golf Course. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Slow Springs Reservoir reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs                  down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Slow Springs Reservoir are in the 30's. So much amusing stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just remarkable. The scenery at North Fork Dam close to Slow Springs Reservoir is pretty, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Clackamas River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful.
