A visit to Slide Lakes is always a good idea. Take a hike on the Gearhart Trail, and Withers Dam has wonderful water scenery. Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Slide Lakes is right by the Hanan Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Boulder Spring Trail, and why not camp at North Creek Campground since you're here at Slide Lakes.

All through the warm days of summer highs here at Slide Lakes reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Slide Lakes dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.

Mountain, and you simply must check out Monument Rock while you're here at Slide Lakes. It is very arid here at Slide Lakes typically; the month with most of the rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
