Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things next to Slide Lakes. Lakes are magnificent; Potts Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Slide Lakes; if the weather is pretty, you get a pleasant panorama of Slide Mountain from Slide Lakes. Camping is available at North Creek Campground, and there are pleasant places to look at along the Gearhart Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime highs at       Slide Lakes frequently tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 40's while Slide Lakes overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. A quick spree to Wooley Creek in close proximity to Slide Lakes is a wonderful idea, and no need to travel far to stop by exciting stuff like Monument Rock. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Southern Cascade                  Range. Don't leave Slide Lakes without first going for a hike along the Boulder Spring Trail, and obviously, this is a good area for folks who like lakes, Blue Lake is a lake close by. Slide Lakes is pretty waterless generally; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. So many cool things to do in the Southern Cascade Range, not enough time. You don’t have to go far from Slide Lakes to observe the water at Withers Dam; going for a hike on the Hanan Trail is always a splendid adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
