High temperatures at Slide Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter highs are frequently in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Slide Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. Slide Lake is located in the Blue Mountains. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Slide Lake is peerless! There's nice       hiking along the Slide Basin Trail, and Little Mud Lake is a great lake nearby. Just can't get enough of the Blue Mountains. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Slide Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wickiup Campground, and don’t forget to check out Little Riner Basin since you're here at Slide Lake. If the weather is wonderful, you obtain a great vista of Rabbit Ears from Slide Lake. Lakes? Sure, Little Slide Lake is close by. Stay the night at                  Indian Springs Campground; Slide Falls is a wonderful spot to stop at while you're at Slide Lake. And if that's not enough there's lots more fun stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. The Meadow Fork Trail offers hiking at its best. Slide Lake is pretty waterless frequently; May is the wettest month with most rain while July is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
