Slide Falls is always fun to check out, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Meadow Fork Trail. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Blue Mountains. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Slide Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Slide Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This       lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Best Western John Day Inn; camping at Wickiup Campground is always a magnificent experience. Good hiking is available along the Slide Basin Trail; Slide Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Indian Springs Campground is a perfect local campground. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are truly plentiful here at Slide Lake. You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Little Slide Lake near Slide Lake, and                  Little Riner Basin is a delightful location any time of year. Slide Lake is located in the Blue Mountains. Slide Lake gets very little rain; throughout May this area sees the most rain; the driest month is July. So many fun things to do in the Blue Mountains, not sufficient time.
