Through the summertime highs here at Sky Lake get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Sky Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. Sky Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wallowa Mountains. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is abundant here in the Wallowa Mountains. Sky Lake is splendid enough       to spend more than a day at, Nez Perce Trailer and RV Park is a splendid local campground, and Elkhorn Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Sky Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Main Eagle Bridge Campground is a great spot for that, and Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a glorious spot to get some rest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all                  the entertaining stuff at Sky Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Sky Lake; North Minam Trail is a pleasant local trail; you're probably addicted to lakes, Swamp Lake is one of those close by. Sky Lake is a location that is rather dry typically; the month with most of the snow is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. Don't leave Sky Lake without first going for a hike along the Copper Creek Trail, and Elkhorn Peak is beautiful and can be observed from here. After a long day outdoors Baker City Super 8 Motel is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and unsurprisingly, this is a delightful neighborhood for people who like lakes, Steamboat Lake is a lake around here. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wallowa Mountains.
