Skull Creek Butte is painless to spot from Skull Creek Reservoir; why not camp at Blitzen Crossing Campground if you're here at Skull Creek Reservoir. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. During the warm days of summer highs here at Skull Creek Reservoir reach the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's with temperatures at Skull Creek Reservoir       dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more entertaining stuff to do in the Steens Mountains. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to make out at Skull Creek Dam in the vicinity of Skull Creek Reservoir, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the The Beef Trail. A lake close by is Eleven Horse Reservoir, and Jackman Park Campground is a wonderful local campground. Skull Creek Reservoir is a location                  that is relatively arid generally; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
