If you come at the right time of year, Trask River offers some good whitewater, and after a long day outdoors Clifftop Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Skookum Lake gets much water; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. For the period of the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 60's at Skookum Lake with overnight lows in       the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Skookum Lake. Why not camp at Tillamook Koa Kampground if you're here at Skookum Lake, and the peak of Beaver Point can be observed from Skookum Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Western Royal Inn, and do pop by Skookum Lake Dam since you're here. You definitely have                  to go for Skookum Lake. This place, the Coast Ranges, has so much outdoors fun stuff.
