     Sims Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. High temperatures at Sims Reservoir throughout the warm days of summer are in the 90's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Sims Reservoir tend to be in the 30's. Good hiking is available along the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard by Marriott Medford Airport.  
   So many cool things to do here in the Southern Cascade Range, too pleasant to be true. You'll come across a beautiful lake called Humphrey Reservoirs near Sims Reservoir, and there are some great whitewater spots on Big Butte Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Sims Reservoir, you could also take a look at beautiful Barton Reservoir, and La Quinta Inn Suites White City is a nice place to get some rest. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting
 
               warmed up. Take a little spree to Nichols Branch while you're here at Sims Reservoir, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Eagle Point Golf Course is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Eagle Trailer Park, and close by you stumble on Nichols Gap which is a magnificent site to have a look at.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in close proximity to Sims Reservoir. Man, is there plenty of amusing things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the Alco Trail is always a delightful adventure, and don't leave Sims Reservoir without first paying a visit to Ball Spring. People from Medford love to come to Sims Reservoir, and there's whitewater on Rogue River for all you adrenaline people.
Sims Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. At Sims Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Why not camp at Medford Oaks Campark since you're here at Sims Reservoir; you can go for a hike on the Chicago Trail.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
