Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Medford, and if you're dropping by from Medford, you won't be the only one. This lake is located in the wonderful Siskiyou Mountains. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Siskiyou Mountains has to offer. On a good day at Simpson Reservoir you can take a hike along the Chicago Trail, and you obtain a great vista of Chimney Rock Butte from here. Simpson       Reservoir really is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. You have to absolutely stop by Neil Rock while you're here at Simpson Reservoir; Central Point Koa Kampground is a brilliant campground nearby. Do have a look at Coulter Reservoir Number Two right next door to Simpson Reservoir, it's a pretty lake; there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Canyon Number Three Trail. Simpson Dam is delightful and it's in the neighborhood of Simpson Reservoir,                  and you'll stumble on a charming lake called Coulter Reservoir Number One. At Simpson Reservoir during the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Simpson Reservoir. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in the vicinity of Simpson Reservoir has to offer. Simpson Reservoir is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Dardanelle Trailer Park is a magnificent place to camp nearby, and if you need a spot to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites White City is a nice choice. Having a brilliant time in the Siskiyou Mountains is uncomplicated. The Red Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Simpson Reservoir; don't leave Simpson Reservoir without first paying a visit to Straus Spring. From a precipitation point of view Simpson Reservoir is a reasonably common place; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful.
