of Shockley Reservoir, and if you came to camp Armstrong - Mount Hood National Forest is a splendid site to do that. All through the months of summer at Shockley Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and the night is a
little cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's while Shockley Reservoir overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's. Whitewater paddling is not
for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Bull Run, and camping at Camp Creek - Mount Hood National Forest is always a great experience. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. The high level of rain makes
Shockley Reservoir a pretty wet place; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
