Paddling on Wilson River - Devil's Lake Fork is so much fun, and if you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn And Suites Forest Grove is a great choice. During the warm months here at Shipley Pool, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. High temperatures through       the winter are normally in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Shipley Pool plunge into the 30's. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Coast Ranges has to offer. Howell Reservoirs is a good lake close to Shipley Pool; some close by water includes Bateman Creek. Lakes? Sure, Dorman Pond is around here, and Cedar Ridge is a tremendous local campground. Shipley Pool gets lots of water; during December                  this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Nehalem River, and Shipley Pool is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Big Eddy County Park is a nice spot to camp nearby.
