The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful. And that's not everything you can do here in the Blue Mountains. Why not take a look at close by Thorn Creek if you're here at Sherwood Lake, and Americas Best Inns-Burns is a tremendous location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Sherwood Lake without first going for a hike along the Call Meadow Trail, and if you need a       place to stay Burns - Days Inn Ponderosa is a delightful choice. So much exciting stuff in the Blue Mountains, just tremendous. Stay the night at Ray Cole Campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Sherwood Lake; Fawn Spring Trail is a splendid local trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the neighborhood of Sherwood Lake. Not far from Sherwood Lake, you'll stumble on Buffalo Lake which is a pretty lake, and there's good hiking along                  the Rattlesnake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Sherwood Lake is a nice spot to camp, Rock Springs Campground is a nice spot, and Loco Spring is a nice local attraction. Badger Canyon is a perfect place to go to in the vicinity of Sherwood Lake, and Buffalo Dam is a picturesque site, beyond doubt worth checking out. For the period of the warm months at Sherwood Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Sherwood Lake.
