This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Sherman Reservoir has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Oak Meadows Inn, and lakes are such calm sites, why not stop at James O Fisher Reservoir. The high level of precipitation makes Sherman Reservoir a reasonably wet location; through the month of December you get the most rain       around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. That right there is lots of exciting things already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. A quick journey to Alder Creek right next door to Sherman Reservoir is a splendid idea, and a charming lake like Woods Pond is a glorious spot to explore. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Sherman Reservoir. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter                  highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Sherman Reservoir descend into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Lyons Beach is in the neighborhood of Sherman Reservoir if you're in a beach type of mood, and folks from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton love to come here. If you're a golfer then a pleasant close by course is St Helens Golf Course. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Sherman Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Violette's Villa. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Coast Ranges. James O Fisher Dam is a place that is next to Sherman Reservoir; you can stay the night at Scappose Airport County Park. If you need a place to stay Kalama River Inn is a perfect choice, and you can run the rapids of Kalama River.
