Frazier Fork Campground is a pleasant local campground, and as expected, this is a nice area for folks who like lakes, Hideaway Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Resort at the Mountain is a pleasant choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you       then, we recommend Clackamas River - Oak Grove Fork. Dry warm beds await you at Whispering Woods (Vri), and if you came for an overnight stay Frazier Turnaround Campground is a magnificent location to camp. And that's not all you can do here at Shellrock Lake. Go for a hike on the Hambone Trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Rock Lakes. Shellrock Lake is a rather wet place mostly with a lot of rain; most                  of the rain falls during December, and the driest month is July. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Going for a hike on the Cottonwood Meadows Trail is always a good adventure; from Shellrock Lake you acquire a good panorama of Frazier Mountain.
