What a nice lake Sheep Lake is. High temperatures at Sheep Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Sheep Lake are in the 30's. There are tremendous places to explore along the Fish Lake Trail; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Hoodoo. Man, is there a heap of entertaining things to do in the Central

| | Cascade Range. Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Marion Creek, and if you've had enough of Sheep Lake, Indian Lakes is nearby.
Sheep Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with a good deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Why not camp at Trout Lake Campground since you're here at Sheep Lake; possibly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, | |

Rimrock Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful.
So much amusing stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too great to be true. On a pretty day you obtain a vista of Double Peaks from Sheep Lake;
don't leave Sheep Lake without first going for a hike along the Wolf Spring Trail. So much amusing stuff to do at Sheep Lake, so little time. A delightful place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Sheep Lake is Collawash River,
and going for a hike on the Cub Creek Trail is always a great adventure. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Lemiti Campground, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Cornpatch Meadow is right close by.
