Beautiful Serene Lake has much to offer visitors. Serene Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. The high level of precipitation makes Serene Lake a relatively wet spot; during the month of December you get the most rain around here; July on the other hand is the driest. After a long day outdoors Resort at the Mountain is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a pleasant time. The sight

| | of Frazier Mountain from Serene Lake is stunning; there's whitewater on Clackamas River for all you adrenaline kick people. Summertime highs at Serene Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Serene Lake temperatures dip to the 30's. Cache Meadow is right here at Serene Lake, and camping is available at Shining Lake Campground. | |

There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Serene Lake. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Clackamas River - Oak Grove Fork, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Serene Lake; Dry Ridge Trail is a pleasant local
trail. This lake is so wonderful. Upper Rock Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and great hiking is available along the Cottonwood Meadows Trail. All the outdoors cool things in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming
back time and again. A splendid nearby hotel is Whispering Woods (Vri); why not camp at Frazier Turnaround Campground if you're here at Serene Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Roaring River Trail, and hey,
Gotta ski right? Timberline Lodge is a good place to do that. If you get bored of Serene Lake, you could also stop at nearby Middle Rock Lake; the slopes of Mt. Hood Ski Bowl are so inviting nobody can resist.
