Second Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. The wonderful people of Albany-Lebanon like to hang out nearby; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Crabtree Creek. There's whitewater on Calapooia River for all you adrenaline junkies.       So many fun things to do here at Second Lake, too delightful to be true. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Albany is a great choice, and Golf Club of Oregon is a golf course nearby. Do visit Waverly Lake in the vicinity of Second Lake, it's a stunning lake; some nearby water includes Burkhart Creek. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Second Lake has to offer, you can camp at Albany Trailer Park, and after a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn And                  Suites Albany is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Second Lake during the warm months are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Second Lake.
