Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more cool things to do here in the Central Cascade Range. During the summer here at Scout Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; night lows at Scout Lake through the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 30's. Scout Lake is a pretty       wet place generally with a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly November, that's the one that rains the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. So much cool stuff to do at Scout Lake, so little time. Camping at Oakridge Mobile Home Park is always a great experience, and hey, Gotta ski right? Willamette Pass is a glorious site to do that. Don't forget to take a good little spree to Billy Creek, and get your heart pumping                  on the magnificent whitewater of Willamette River - North Fork of Middle Fork. Good hiking is available along the Shitepoke Trail, and if you came to camp Oakridge RV Park is a splendid spot to do that. Scout Lake is located in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. There's pleasant hiking along the McKinley Creek Trail; a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Christy Creek. And if that's not enough there's a lot more fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range.
