You'll       need more than a day to explore everything Scout Lake has to offer, you can camp at Perkins Creek Campground. There's so much to do here at Scout Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cedar Ridge is a perfect location for that, and do pop by Quincy Reservoir, it's a pretty lake. The panorama of Windy Mountain from Scout Lake is pretty; if you come at the right time of year, Rock Creek offers some magnificent whitewater. Scout Lake is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. During the summertime months at Scout Lake highs are generally in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Scout Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's.
