At Scott Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Scott Pond tend to be in the 30's. Scott Pond is a reasonably wet place regularly with a large amount of rain; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July.       If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Grayback Trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Myrtle Creek Golf Course is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Scott Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Tri City RV Park is a great place for that; if you've had enough of Scott Pond, Corder Log Pond is                  nearby. The South Fork Trail offers hiking at its best, and you might also want to pay a visit to Lawson Bar while you're here at Scott Pond. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Roseburg, Or is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and the nice folks of Roseburg like to hang out nearby. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges. Whitewater paddling is great on Umpqua River - South, unsurprisingly you could also explore Keystone Log Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Canyonville Inn And Suites is a splendid spot to get some rest; Scott Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Seven Feathers RV Resort is a perfect local campground. Scott Pond is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. And if that's not enough there's a load more enjoyable stuff to do in the Coast Ranges.
