Schumacher Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. At Schumacher Reservoir through the long summer days highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Schumacher Reservoir. There are plenty of people from Salem here at Schumacher Reservoir; if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Sublimity is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Schumacher

| | Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Snow Peak Mill City Trail; get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Silver Creek.
Schumacher Reservoir gets a common amount of annual rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Camping at Silver Falls Conference Center is always a delightful experience, and a nice spot for whitewater paddling is Crabtree Creek.
