     All through the summer months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Schmidt Reservoirs. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Schmidt Reservoirs temperatures sink to the 30's. Going for a hike along the Canyon Number Three Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you need a location to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites White  
   City is a good choice. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Schmidt Reservoirs. A good site for whitewater paddling near Schmidt Reservoirs is Rogue River, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Medford.
This lake is so wonderful. Moore Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and if you came to camp Emigrant Lake is a magnificent location to do that. While you're here at Schmidt Reservoirs,
 
               you could also visit delightful Bingham Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Schmidt Reservoirs that you need to camp here for a while, Jackson County Parks and Rec is a perfect place for that. All the outdoors cool things in the Siskiyou Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. Schmidt Reservoirs is near Lester James Dam which is a gorgeous place beyond doubt worth taking a look at; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Red Mountain Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Yeah, come up here to the Siskiyou Mountains for a good time. Fairfield Inn & Suites Medford is a great place to get some rest, and hiking along the Chicago Trail is glorious fun. Schmidt Reservoirs is one of the lakes here in the Siskiyou Mountains.
The yearly rain here at Schmidt Reservoirs is about average; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July.

If you can ski Mt. Ashland, you can ski anywhere, is a boast locals in southern Oregon have made for 45 years. It is true; Mt. Ashland offers plenty of adventure for both skiers and riders. The ski area is located about a half an hour drive from the charming town of Ashland, home to the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At 7,500 feet, Mt. Ashland is the highest point in the Siskiyou mountain range. Its north facing slopes collect an average 300 inches of snowfall annually. The ski area offers 23 trails in addition to chute skiing and boarding in its famous bowl. All trails are easily accessed by 4 chairlifts. Twilight skiing on 10 runs is scheduled Thursday through Friday evenings beginning in late-December. The mountain prides itself on a warm and friendly atmosphere.
