Sand Camp Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. Sand Camp Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the summer months at Sand Camp Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. Sand Camp Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Cold Springs Resort is a good place to camp nearby, and do take a hike on the Round Lake Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Meadow Lake, and here at Sand Camp Lake you can see Claypool Butte. Lake. Suttle Lake Resort and Marina is a magnificent local campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the South Loop Cut Off. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is a delightful
location to spend a night or two, and a day on the slopes of Mt. Bachelor is just what you need. Be careful coming to the Central Cascade Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. Not far from Sand Camp Lake, you'll
stumble on Dollar Nine Lake which is a picturesque lake, and Squaw Creek is a nice whitewater spot nearby. Yeah, come up here to the Central Cascade Range for a brilliant time. Lodge at Suttle Lake is a brilliant spot to get some
rest; a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Marion Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The Cache Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not head up to Hoodoo and strap some skis to your feet.
