rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Burns - Days Inn Ponderosa is a great spot to get some rest. Nearby Blue Gulch is a brilliant location to go if you're at San Juan Log Ponds; a round of golf at
nearby John Day Golf Club is a great way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Davis Creek Springs; not far from San Juan Log Ponds you'll discover Carpenter Pond which is a beautiful lake.
