In Oregon there are many beautiful lakes, Sams Ponds is one of them. Summertime highs at Sams Ponds ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Sams Ponds. Sams Ponds is located in the Central Cascade Range. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Sams Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Silver Fox RV Park, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Cold Spring Trail. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Sams Ponds and you like golf, you can stop at Springwater Golf Course, and whitewater paddling is good on Eagle Creek.

much rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is July.
Howard Johnson Gresham is a great location to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Northwest Land Management.
