High temperatures at Ruth Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Ruth Lake. On a delightful day at Ruth Lake you can take a hike along the Saddle Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Ruth Lake       has to offer, you can camp at Patio RV Park. If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great world it would be. Going for a hike on the Pyramid Trail is always a glorious adventure, and gorgeous scenery and good skiing is what you get at Hoodoo. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Twin Springs Campground; if you come at the right time of year, Horse Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. There is a great hiking trail in close                  proximity to Ruth Lake called the Tipsoo Trail; the top of Lowder Mountain is easily distinguished from Ruth Lake. You absolutely should go for the Central Cascade Range. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Ruth Lake is a rather wet place typically with a great deal of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is usually the driest month. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range.
