If you like lakes and you're in this part of Oregon you can check out Ruth Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Ruth Lake a wet site; December is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is July. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Camping at Ruth Lake is good fun, Twin Springs Campground is a good local campground, and there are wonderful spots to discover along the Pyramid Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll

For the period of the months of summer here at Ruth Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 40's. and swamps like Quaking Aspen Swamp in the neighborhood of Ruth Lake make for great places to pop by. Get wet paddling on Horse Creek; close by you hit upon the Saddle Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail.
Ruth Lake is one of
the lakes here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Central Cascade Range will keep you coming back again and again. Patio RV Park is a great campground here, and the
summit of Lowder Mountain can be observed from Ruth Lake.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Drift down the rapids of McKenzie River - South Fork in a kayak, and going for a hike on the Tipsoo Trail is always a splendid adventure.
