Rush Pond gets very little rain; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is July. So many entertaining things to do here in the Blue Mountains, too fine to be true. Litch Meadow is right here at Rush Pond, and Gilson Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. There's so much to do here at Rush Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Meadowbrook       Lodge and Overnight Park is a nice location for that, and if you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn is a fine choice. All year is a great time in the Blue Mountains if you love the outdoors. Summertime at Rush Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Rush Pond dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Rush                  Pond in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Rush Pond; Bear Camp Trail is a glorious local trail; Rush Pond is right by the Section Line Trail. The Peep Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you get bored of Rush Pond you could also stop at close by Stinking Water Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
