Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Lots of people from Klamath Falls come to Round Lake. Round Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Lake Of The woods Resort is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and Oatman Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. You simply should go for the Southern Cascade Range. Round Lake Golf and Mobile Estates is       a wonderful campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Klamath Falls is a glorious spot to spend a night or two. On a great day at Round Lake you can take a hike along the South Pass Lake Trail, and Klamath Falls Super 8 Motel is a delightful spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Varney Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure, and a lake nearby is Aspen Lake. Through the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily                  are in the 60's at Round Lake, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, typically in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Round Lake. The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. The high level of rain makes Round Lake a relatively wet location; December is the month that gets the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. There is a good hiking trail close to Round Lake called the Moss Creek Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Klamath River.   Klamath Falls Super 8 Motel, Klamath Falls 9 miles away AAA approved.
