Round Lake is always a pleasure to visit. There are other places here than Round Lake, for example Blue Lake; Crater Lake National Park is a glorious place close by. Lakes are such serene sites, why not check out Beal Lake close to Round Lake, and Round Lake is a perfect site to visit for more than one day, Upper South Fork Campground is a perfect site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Gypsy Spring is a great local attraction.

| | of view Round Lake is a relatively common place; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is July. Yeah, come here to Round Lake for a glorious time. Go for a hike on the South Fork Trail, and if you want to visit some out of the ordinary stuff, visit Blue Rock. if it's for you then we recommend Rogue River - North Fork, and don't leave Round Lake without first going for a hike along the Cat Hill Way.
If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Southern Cascade
Range. There's great hiking along the Blue Canyon Trail, and you can observe Cat Hill from Round Lake. High temperatures at Round Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's.
The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at Round Lake through the winter regularly sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Saddle Campground is a tremendous campground nearby; everyone loves Buck Basin.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range.
