Round Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; during November this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Crater Lake National Park is a national park worth taking a look at. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Round Lake. Gypsy Spring is always fun to check out; a glorious location to camp here at Round Lake is Upper South Fork       Campground. Round Lake is located in the Southern Cascade Range. Blue Rock is a magnificent site to visit while in the neighborhood, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Cat Hill Way. So much exciting stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range, not enough time. Cat Hill can be seen from Round Lake, and Blue Lake is a delightful lake close by. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Southern Cascade Range. There are other spots here than                  Round Lake, for example North Blue Lake Group, and do take a hike on the Blue Canyon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Rogue River - North Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Round Lake; South Fork Trail is a good local trail. All through the summer highs here at Round Lake reach the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Round Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's.
