The beauty of Round Lake attracts many people from all around. Summertime highs at Round Lake frequently tend to be in the 60's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Round Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Coast Ranges. Whisky Run Beach is in close proximity to Round Lake and is a striking beach to stop at, and a journey
to Fivemile Point is always a wonderful idea. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Round Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bullards Beach State Park. Lakes are tremendous; Chrome Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity
of Round Lake. This place, the Coast Ranges, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Not far from Round Lake, you'll locate The Lagoon which is a stunning lake, and there are plenty of folks from Coos Bay here.

This is the most beautiful lake on the oregon coast. It has pleanty of huge bass and other fish in it. I saw two ospreys and one bald eagle on it. There is lots of wildlife on this lake because it is private and nobody fishes it....
This is a private lake. However, I have a 6.5 acre parcel that has access to this lake. You can fish for trophy bass from your own dock or boat that comes with this property. The property is splittable into 2 parcels that each have their own deeded lake access. All this and way more for only 369K OBO. Upper Pony Creek Reservoir

I work for the Coos Bay-North Bend water board and have the unique pleasure to view the Upper Pony Creek Dam, The Reservoir and the surrounding watershed when work there is required. The area is quiet as it is a restricted area and the resident Elk herd is often seen along with a deer or two once and a while. When the weather is nice the lake is a beautiful blue. The trees are in a scheduled harvest cycle and replaced when cut so there is stands of huge trees alongside smaller sized tree patches. all in all it is a pleasure to get to ''work'' in such a beautiful environment and to have the distinct opportunity to live in the area I do. It is possible to view this magnificant area when tours are made available through the Water Board.... |
