Summer brings highs in the 70's to Round Lake; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while Round Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's. The high level of rainfall makes Round Lake a relatively wet location;       the month with most of the rain is December, and July is the month with the least moisture. Swamps like Jack Slough near Round Lake make for great sites to stop by, and a spree to West Arm is always a delightful idea. This lake is so wonderful. The good folks of Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton like to hang out nearby, and a beautiful lake like Steelman Lake is a splendid site to have a look at. Man, is there lots of amusing things to do close to Round Lake.                  An afternoon playing golf at St Helens Golf Course is always a bliss, and you can run the rapids of Kalama River. Don't forget to take a delightful little trip to Alder Creek, and camping at Scappose Airport County Park is always a glorious experience. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Portland Hillsboro, and a pleasant place to camp here at Round Lake is Violette's Villa. This lake is so wonderful.
