A fine location to camp here at Rough and Ready Log Pond is Lone Mountain RV Resort, and close by you find the Chetco Divide Trail which is a fine hiking trail. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Rough and Ready Mill Pond Dam, and Bacus Creek is near Rough and Ready Log Pond       and is always a pleasure to have a look at. During the summer months at Rough and Ready Log Pond highs are mostly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Rough and Ready Log Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. If you're here at Rough and Ready Log Pond and you like golf, you can go to Illinois Valley Golf Course, and you can run the rapids of Illinois River. Rough and Ready Log Pond is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls during December while July is typically the driest month. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Klamath Mountains.
