two; fine hiking is available along the Old Baldy Trail. Much precipitation falls at Roslyn Lake; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is
so wonderful. A scenic lake like Shockley Reservoir right next door to Roslyn Lake is a great location to check out; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Bull Run. Having a pleasant time
in the Central Cascade Range is painless. Lake Roslyn Dam is worth a visit since you're here, and you can go for a hike on the Fanton Plaza Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Central Cascade
Range has to offer. Bowman Creek flows through this area, and camping is available at Armstrong - Mount Hood National Forest.
