You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. There's whitewater on Clackamas River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and after a long day outdoors Whispering Woods (Vri) is a great site to spend a night or two. Rock Lakes gets lots of water; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Central Cascade Range is great!

| | There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Clackamas River - Oak Grove Fork; you can go for a hike on the Cottonwood Meadows Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Frazier Turnaround Campground is a great local campground; Cache Meadow is a wonderful place here at Rock Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Rock Lakes, you could also explore nearby Middle Rock Lake, and Timberline Lodge has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. If only every | |

place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great globe it would be. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Rock Lakes; Dry Ridge Trail is a magnificent local trail, and dry warm beds await you at Resort at the Mountain.
All through the warm days of summer at Rock Lakes temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and winter
nights come with lows in the 30's to Rock Lakes. Frazier Fork Campground is a great campground nearby, and from Rock Lakes you acquire a glorious view of Frazier Mountain. Good hiking is available along the Roaring River Trail.
Rock Lakes is not the only place nearby, Upper Rock Lake is a nearby lake, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
