Rock Creek Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and do visit Balm Creek while you're here at Rock Creek Lake. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Rock Creek Lake. There is a wonderful hiking trail in the vicinity of Rock Creek Lake called the Owl Creek Trail; a journey to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is recommended. Man, is there lots of       enjoyable stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. Buck Pasture is a great place to stretch your legs a bit; a beautiful lake like Fred Creek Lake is a good place to go to. You simply have to have a thing about the Blue Mountains. Near Rock Creek Lake you find the Coffeepot Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and why not camp at Little Summit Campground while you're here at Rock Creek Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Lonesome Spring Campground is a nice site                  to camp, and Edmonson Spring is an inspiring site to have a look at during your stay. Summertime highs at Rock Creek Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Rock Creek Lake through the winter frequently drop into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Black Canyon Trail is always a delightful adventure, and you'll stumble on a gorgeous lake called Dry Lake.
