Good hiking is available along the Little Badger Creek Trail, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by City of The Dalles. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Roberts                  Reservoirs; Pen Way Trail is a wonderful local trail, and if you came to camp Pine Hollow Lakeside Resort is a great spot to do that. Get yourself into a kayak and hit White River, and dry warm beds await you at Deschutes Motel. Don't leave Roberts Reservoirs without first going for a hike along the Ball Point Trail, and Roberts Reservoirs is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Wasco County Fairgrounds is a nice local campground.
