The warmest time of the year at Riverside Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 60's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. Riverside Lake is a site with many visitors from Astoria, and Riverside Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sams Resort is a great local campground.

Rippet Mountain from Riverside Lake, and after a long day outdoors The Inn at Seaside is a good place to spend a night or two.
Riverside Lake is a relatively wet place frequently with a large amount of rain; most of the rain falls
all through December, and the driest month of the year is July. And if that's not enough there's a load more fun stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. Do pay a visit to Fort Clatsop National Memorial since you're here at Riverside Lake, and while here here do pop by nearby Chapman Beach.
