There is a magnificent hiking trail right next door to Ripplebrook Pond called the Roaring River Trail; if you're here, you could also visit gorgeous Serene Lake. This lake is so wonderful. a night or two. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. For the period of the summer at Ripplebrook Pond highs are frequently in the 70's.
Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Ripplebrook Pond during the wintertime frequently dip into the 30's. If you come at the right time
of year, Clackamas River - Oak Grove Fork offers some great whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at Whispering Woods (Vri). Swamps like Austin Meadow close to Ripplebrook Pond make for good sites to explore; nearby you find
the Dry Ridge Trail which is a great hiking trail. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining things to do in the Central Cascade Range. You'll hit upon a wonderful lake called Timber Lake near Ripplebrook Pond, and don't
forget to take a delightful little tour to Austin Creek. You clearly must have a thing about the Central Cascade Range. The slopes of Mt. Hood Ski Bowl are so inviting nobody can resist, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Bagby Trail.
