Soda Springs Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Steamboat Creek. After a long day outdoors Best Western Oakridge Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool things to do in the Central Cascade Range. Camas Creek Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and there's some interesting       stuff to catch a glimpse of at Soda Springs Dam close to Ringtail Pond. The high level of rain makes Ringtail Pond a reasonably wet site; through November this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Stay the night at Weeping Rock Campground; going for a hike on the Spring Mountain Way is always a tremendous adventure. There are glorious places to explore along the Cinder Prairie Way, and if you want to pop by                  some attention-grabbing stuff, pop by Flatiron Point. Having a tremendous time at Ringtail Pond is easy. Fish Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Soda Springs. This lake is so wonderful. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Copland Creek, and a lake nearby is Fish Creek Forebay. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Cascade Range. Near Ringtail Pond you hit upon the Bradley Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; close by you'll discover a wooded neighborhood called Ringtail Pine. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. For the period of the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Ringtail Pond; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
