     There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Blue Mountains. South Prong Black Canyon Creek is a stream that you may bump into during your stay; the Black Canyon Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. Do pop by Rock Pit Reservoir next to Ringsmeyer Reservoir, it's a scenic lake; on a splendid day you can take a hike along the South Prong Trail. At Ringsmeyer Reservoir during the summer months highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools  
   down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Ringsmeyer Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Fish House Inn is a perfect place to camp, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Coffeepot Trail. The Blue Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All the outdoors exciting things close to Ringsmeyer Reservoir will keep you coming back over and over. A gorgeous
 
               lake like Thicket Reservoir close to Ringsmeyer Reservoir is a good place to visit, and camping is available at Pine Tree Campground.
Ringsmeyer Reservoir is pretty dried up commonly; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is September. A splendid nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn; don't miss out on a journey to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument while you're here. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is bountiful here in the Blue Mountains.
