Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Roseburg Country Club, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Umpqua River - South. All through the summer months, highs typically are in the 80's at Rieke Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's while       the cold winter nights at Rieke Reservoir are in the 30's. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges.
