There are plenty of folks from Roseburg here at Rieke Reservoir, and there's whitewater on Umpqua River - South for all you adrenaline junkies. Through the summer highs here at Rieke Reservoir get into the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Rieke Reservoir dipping down into the 30's through       winter nights. This is a wonderful area for people who like lakes. Hubbard Pond is a lake in the neighborhood; the peak of Lookingglass Hill can be seen from Rieke Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Roseburg Country Club not far from Rieke Reservoir, and camping at Twin Rivers Vacation Park is always a glorious experience. This lake is so wonderful. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Rieke Reservoir. You're probably                  addicted to lakes, Lammys Reservoir is one of those nearby; a wonderful spot to camp here at Rieke Reservoir is On The River RV Park. And that's not everything you can do here in the Coast Ranges. A brilliant close by hotel is Sleep Inn & Suites; you can run the rapids of Umpqua River - North. Rieke Reservoir is located in the Coast Ranges. If you need a location to stay Americas Best Value Inn/Roseburg is a good choice, and swing by Elgarose Creek it's a magnificent location to explore.
