A visit to Ridgetop Pond is always a good idea. There are some fine whitewater spots on Grande Ronde River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Five Points Trail. Ridgetop Pond is a beautiful lake in the Blue Mountains. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Mountains. Royal Motor Inn is a splendid place to get some rest, and a good place to camp here at Ridgetop Pond is Elk Campground.
A delightful nearby hotel is Greenwell Motel, and do take

| | a hike on the Summit Mount Emily Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Ridgetop Pond. The peak of Owsley Hogback can be seen from Ridgetop Pond, and Ridgetop Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Grandview Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Grande Ronde River offers some good whitewater; hiking along the Evans Trail is good fun.

Spring is a lovely place to visit while you're at Ridgetop Pond. During the months of summer here at Ridgetop Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 80's while night lows are generally in the 50's. All through the winter the highs
are regularly in the 40's, and overnight lows at Ridgetop Pond throughout the wintertime regularly sink into the 20's.
At Ridgetop Pond you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is November while July is mostly the driest month.
