If you are in Marion county it's always a good idea to stop by Rhody Lake. Rhody Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Cascade Range. A stunning lake like Butte Lake right next door to Rhody Lake is a glorious place to stop at; unsurprisingly Fibre Creek flows through this neighborhood. Rhody Lake in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. While you're here at Rhody Lake you can play some golf at Elkhorn Valley Golf Course, and All Season's

This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Rhody Lake without first paying a visit to Mud Springs, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mollala River - South Fork. A wonderful spot to camp here at Rhody Lake is Taylor Park, and if you need a place to stay Oak Park Motel & Trailer Park is a great choice. Picture Point is something you shouldn't miss while you're here.
And that's not all the things you can do here in the Central Cascade Range. While you're here at Rhody Lake you can take a hike along the High Camp Trail, and if
the weather is delightful, you obtain a good sight of Dog Rock from Rhody Lake. Rhody Lake is a wet site that gets a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls through December; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful.
Have a fine hiking adventure along the Baty Silver King Trail, and get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Santiam River - Little North.
You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in
the vicinity of Rhody Lake has to offer. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Rhody Lake get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are
normally in the 40's with temperatures at Rhody Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. So much entertaining stuff in the Central Cascade Range, just extraordinary. Take a hike on the Pine Crest Trail, and while you're here at Rhody Lake it's a wonderful idea to check out Gawley Basin.
