Not much precipitation falls here at Rex Reservoir; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Be careful coming to the Blue Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. After a long day outdoors Americas       Best Value Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and don't leave Rex Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Berry Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. H S Johnson Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Best Western John Day Inn is a wonderful location to get some rest. Rex Reservoir beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. It's always good to take a look at Big Glade Spring, and why not camp at Rock                  Springs Campground if you're here at Rex Reservoir. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Mountains. That right there is lots of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Mountains has it all. Go for a hike on the Fawn Spring Trail. At Rex Reservoir during the summertime highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Rex Reservoir dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
