The beauty of Resting Lake is reason enough to stop by. Resting Lake usually gets a great deal of precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A gorgeous lake like Thorn Lake in the vicinity
of Resting Lake is a great place to explore, and Kalama River is a glorious whitewater spot close by. Best Western Oak Meadows Inn is a good place to get some rest. What a location this is for outdoors people. Resting Lake is a fine
location to visit for more than one day, Columbia Riverfront RV Park is a fine location to camp nearby, and if you're keen on cool geologic marks try Martin Bluff.
Stay the night at Louis L Rasmussen RV Park, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Benham Slough is right nearby.
