You'll stumble on a lovely lake called Round Lake near Rest Lake, and Violette's       Villa is a brilliant local campground. After a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott Portland Hillsboro is a fine place to spend a night or two, and if you're here and you like golf, you can check out St Helens Golf Course. You'll meet a lot of folks from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton here, and lakes are such serene places, why not pop by Martin Lake. Rest Lake usually gets lots of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is the                  month with the least amount of precipitation.
