There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. You're possibly hooked on lakes, Rickmans Pond is one of those close by, and the Michigan Heights Trail offers hiking at its best. Renound Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Central Cascade Range,       not sufficient time. There's whitewater on Santiam River - South for all you adrenaline people; if you need a place to stay Travelodge Pioneer Villa is a wonderful choice. Sunnyside County Park is a brilliant local campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Renound Reservoir; Snow Peak Mill City Trail is a nice local trail. During the warm days of summer at Renound Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly                  in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's while Renound Reservoir night low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Renound Reservoir is not far at all from Albany-Lebanon; dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Sublimity. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Crabtree Lake Trail, and a quick trip to Ames Creek is absolutely a nice idea. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Renound Reservoir. You can run the rapids of Calapooia River close to Renound Reservoir; Pleasant Valley is close by, and is a delightful place. Lakes are fine; Walker Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Renound Reservoir; an afternoon playing golf at Mallard Creek Golf Course is always a bliss. If you came for an overnight stay Holiday Mobile Park is a good site to camp.
