Get yourself into a kayak and hit Grande Ronde River, and going for a hike along the West Wenatchee Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Through the long summer days here at Reed Reservoir, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures       plunge down into the 30's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Reed Reservoir. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Rivertree Inn is a fine choice, and get dripping wet paddling on Grande Ronde River. Reed Reservoir is a location that is pretty arid generally; most of the snow falls through December, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Kirkland                  Campground is a great campground nearby, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Wenatchee Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Reed Reservoir, so little time. Stay the night at Goebel's; let's not forget Burnt Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here.
