    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Oregon you can check out Recession Lakes. Recession Lakes is located in the Central Cascade Range. Comfort Suites Hood River is a nice site to get some rest, and Hood River - Lake Branch is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. Don't leave Recession Lakes without first checking out The Chimney, and there are plenty of people from Hood River here.
Having a nice time in the Central Cascade Range is trouble-free.
 
   You'll locate a pretty lake called Perry Lake near Recession Lakes, and do take a hike on the Timberline Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the Central Cascade Range has to offer. A scenic lake like Dollar Lake in close proximity to Recession Lakes is a perfect place to pop by; a great vista of pretty Mount Hood is available. This lake is so wonderful. Recession Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Reservoir Campground  
               is a great local campground; close by you find Leuthold Couloir which is a good site to pop by.
This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Recession Lakes is White River Park Campground; spots like Devils Kitchen are great to explore. The high level of precipitation makes Recession Lakes a relatively wet place; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. At Recession Lakes through the days of summer highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Recession Lakes dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
All the outdoors amusing things next to Recession Lakes will keep you coming back persistently. Mt. Hood Meadows is a very popular ski area around here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Recession Lakes; Elk Grove Trail is a wonderful local trail. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Recession Lakes rules! Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pinnacle Ridge Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hood River - West Fork. If you need a place to stay Mount Hood Inn is a good choice, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Cooper Spur.

Forest Trail 742, without gear. After you've scoped the area, come back and stay. Even on Labor Day Weekend ('06) there were several campsites available in this dispersed camp area....
