Oregon has many beautiful lakes and Recession Lakes is one of them. After a long day outdoors Inn at Cooper Spur is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mt. Hood Meadows is rather near. No need to travel far to visit interesting stuff like The Chimney, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hood River - Lake Branch. | | month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer at Recession Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Recession Lakes during the wintertime commonly descend into the 30's. here at Recession Lakes is White River Park Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things near Recession Lakes. A lake nearby is Dollar Lake, and the skiing at Cooper Spur is delightful. Not enough hours in a
day to enjoy the Central Cascade Range. Timberline Lodge is a tremendous place to get some rest; the Pinnacle Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Mount Hood is simple to spot from Recession Lakes, and
whitewater paddling is good on Hood River - West Fork. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Central Cascade Range. You're sure to come across some good folks from Hood River here; there's good hiking along the Elk Grove
Trail. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Devils Kitchen is right here at Recession Lakes. Recession Lakes is located in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Reservoir Campground is always a great experience, and since you're here, you might as well take a look at Leuthold Couloir.
