Rainy Lake is a nice lake to visit. A large amount of precipitation falls at Rainy Lake; the month with most of the rain is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Timberlake Campground is a good place to camp, and going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 23 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors

While you're here at Rainy Lake, you could also stop at charming Black Lake; after a long day outdoors Best Western Columbia River Inn is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. enough of the pleasant skiing at Cooper Spur. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Rainy Lake. Camping is available at Wind Mountain Resort, and if you need a place to stay Skamania Lodge is a great choice.
Having a great time in the Central Cascade Range is simple. New Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and do take a hike on the Wyeth Trail. Take a side journey to Gate Creek, and you can have a great hiking adventure along
the Herman Creek Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Rainy Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the
50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Rainy Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Cascade Range. In case you don’t have a problem
getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hood River - Lake Branch, and Green Point Mountain is clearly visible from Rainy Lake.
