Throughout the months of summer at Rainier Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Rainier Reservoir. A pleasant spot for whitewater paddling next to Rainier Reservoir is Goble Creek, and you'll stumble on a pretty lake called Log Pond. This lake       is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Elks Lodge-Kelso-Longview Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Longview Travelodge is a delightful site to get some rest, and a wonderful lake like Pruitt Reservoir is a delightful place to explore. A magnificent place to camp here at Rainier Reservoir is Columbia Trailer Court, and if you want to hit the beach, Red Mill Beach is nearby. You can run the rapids of Coal Creek near Rainier Reservoir; camping at Oaks                  Trailer and RV Park is always a great experience. East Branch Fox Creek is a perfect local stream; if you need a place to stay Quality Inn and Suites is a glorious choice. Rainier Reservoir mostly gets lots of precipitation; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be.
