Float down the rapids of Coal Creek in a kayak, and if you came to camp Columbia Trailer Court is a great site to do that. A lake close by is Log Pond; nothing beats kicking back at Cottonwood Beach. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Rainier Reservoir, you could also check out nearby Pruitt Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Rainier Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Oaks Trailer       and RV Park is a magnificent spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to run into some fine folks from Longview-Kelso here. This place, Rainier Reservoir, it definitely has so much outdoors cool stuff. If you need a place to stay Longview Travelodge is a great choice, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Red Mill Beach. All through the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 70's at Rainier Reservoir. Once the sun is down                  it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Rainier Reservoir temperatures fall to the 30's.
